the three kinds of people on loro

Everyone on loro is a full person first — habits, rhythms, the works — before any room is mentioned. But people come for three different reasons.

seekers

You’re looking for a room and, just as much, for the people in it. You build a profile, you match with homes and with other seekers, and you decide who to talk to. Seekers never pay to use loro.

co-living

You have a spare room in the home you actually live in, and you’re looking for the right person to fill it. You’ll be their flatmate, so you build a real personal profile too — the room is context you add at the end, not the headline.

renting out a room

You’re renting out a room you won’t be living in yourself. That’s welcome on loro — but you’re always shown to seekers as exactly that, never dressed up as a future flatmate. Honesty about who’s on the other side of the door is a rule we don’t bend. (Agencies, on the other hand, aren’t allowed at all.)
