When someone with a spare room thinks you’d fit, their invite lands in your inbox. Here’s what to do with it.

Invites are sorted into three tabs:

• pending — new, waiting on you
• accepted — the ones you’ve said yes to
• expired — invites that timed out before you got to them

accept or pass

Open a pending invite to see who it’s from, their home and their note. Then:

• accept — a chat opens and you start talking, like any match
• pass — it disappears, quietly. The other side just moves on; no awkward “no thanks” to write

No rush and no pressure — but invites can expire, so the good ones are worth a look while they’re fresh. You’re always the one who decides.
