writing a profile people trust

updated 21 July 2026

The best loro profiles aren’t the most polished — they’re the most honest. Here’s what makes one land.

be real, not perfect

  • honest sliders. Set your sleep and social to how you actually live, not how you wish you did. The whole point is to match you with people you’ll be happy with — aspiration just breaks that.
  • specific prompts. A detail beats a slogan every time. “I make a suspiciously good dal” tells someone more than “I love cooking.”
  • real, recent photos. Clearly you, clearly now. People can feel a profile that’s hiding something.

say the true thing

If you’re a homebody, say so — someone out there wants exactly that flatmate. If you need quiet to work, put it in a prompt. The people who match with the real you are the ones you’ll actually want to live with.
