your basics
The basics are the quick facts at the top of your profile.
what we ask
- first name
- age — you enter your date of birth so we can check you’re 18+, but we only ever store the age, never the birthday itself
- where you’re from — your home country
- what you do — picked from a short list, not a free-text job title
- gender
and a short bio
You also get a short bio and three words that sum you up. Keep the bio tight — a few honest lines beat a wall of text.
That’s it for the facts. Everything that actually decides whether you’d live well together lives in your habit sliders and dealbreakers. And the sensitive bits — your exact address, phone and email — are never shown to anyone; see what other people can see.
